The George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services has established the Master of Public Health (MPH@GW) as an innovative new program that combines the flexibility of an online degree with on-the-job experience. George Washington University was looking for a way to attract students from all over the world to enroll in this top master’s program with career opportunities in the field. Students can enter all three SPH majors (BS of Exercise Science, BS of Nutrition, and BS of Public Health) as first-year students when they apply to GW through the Office of Undergraduate Studies using the Common Application. GWSPH will admit all qualified applicants to the major through internal transfer. Students must have a 2.75 GPA or higher to earn a master’s degree in public health and a 2.5 or higher to qualify for a master’s degree in exercise or nutrition.
